617 Squadron the Royal Air Force Dambusters Gifts

Formed under great secrecy at RAF Scampton during World War II on 21 March 1943, The Royal Air Force 617 Squadron, The Dambusters included British Royal Air Force personnel from Britain, Canada Australia as well as New Zealand. This special squadron was formed for the specific task of attacking three major dams on the Ruhr in Germany: the Mohne, Eder and Sorpe. The plan was given the codename Operation Chastise and was carried out on 17 May 1943. 617 Squadron The Dam Busters had to develop the tactics to deploy Barnes Wallis's "Bouncing Bomb".

We offer a range of Official Royal Air Force Dambusters gifts to commemorate the 70th anniversary of The Dambusters raid as well as to celebrate todays 617 Squadron, the Royal Air Force Dambusters.
